Vive em Santana do Araçuaí, distrito do município de Ponto dos Volantes. Aqui, os dados do 29° lançamento:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;TICUMBI/ES&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;O &lt;b&gt;Ticumbi &lt;/b&gt;é uma dança dramática de raízes africanas que constitui uma das representações populares ainda vivas no norte do Espírito Santo, nos municípios de São Mateus e Conceição da Barra.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;Trata-se de um &lt;b&gt;Baile de Congo&lt;/b&gt;, mas muito mais simples do que as demais representações congêneres existentes no Brasil. Nele não há mortes, nem ressurreições, nem coroação de reis ou de rainhas, e o elenco de personagens é menos numeroso. Pertence, entretanto, na classificação exposta por Oneyda Alvarenga em seu estudo &lt;b&gt;Música Popular Brasileira&lt;/b&gt;, ao terceiro tipo, o de "cortejo real, a que se segue uma embaixada de guerra, com episódios de combates".&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;Compõe-se de certo número de negros, entre os quais o Rei Congo, o Rei Bamba, seus secretários e o corpo de baile ou "congos", que representam os guerreiros das duas "nações".&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;Vestem-se a caráter, de longas batas brancas e rendadas, com traspasse de fitas coloridas, calças brancas com ou sem friso lateral vermelho, e, na cabeça, coberta por um lenço branco, um vistoso gorro todo enfeitado de flores de papel de seda e fitas longas de várias cores. Os reis trazem coroas de papelão, ricamente ornamentadas com papel dourado ou prateado, peitoral vistoso, com espelhinhos e flores de papel brilhante, capa comprida de adamascado e, na mão ou na cinta, longa espada. Os dois secretários diferençam-se dos "congos" em trazerem capa e espada, como seus reis. Os instrumentos musicais que usam são apenas pandeiros e chocalhos de latas, que eles chamam de "ganzás" ou "canzás". Há, também, um "viola", que, outrora, não participava propriamente da dramatização: vestido à paisana, sua função era apenas a de "dar o tom". Hoje, porém, participa do &lt;b&gt;Ticumbi&lt;/b&gt;, vestindo calça e bata brancas, com fita em traspasse e lenço branco na cabeça, sob chapéu enfeitado de flores de plástico.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;O enredo do auto é simples: dois reis negros querem fazer, cada qual e separadamente, a festa de São Benedito. Há embaixadas, de parte a parte, com desafios atrevidos, declamados pelos secretários. Não sendo possível qualquer entendimento, trava-se a guerra, agitada luta bailada entre as duas hostes. Dança-se a &lt;b&gt;primeira guerra de reis de Congo &lt;/b&gt;ou &lt;b&gt;guerra sem travar&lt;/b&gt;&amp;nbsp;e, depois, a &lt;b&gt;guerra travada.&lt;/b&gt;&amp;nbsp;Desta última participam os dois reis que, no meio da roda dos "congos", batem espadas cadenciadamente, junto com seus secretários. Aqui, os dados do 18° lançamento:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;CONGOS/PARAÍBA&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;Das tradições folclóricas da Paraíba, destaca-se a Festa do Rosário, da Cidade de Pombal, no alto sertão paraibano, realizada no mês de outubro.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;No ciclo festivo dedicado ao Rosário, os Congos ou Pretinhos do Congo são o grupo que representa, talvez, a peça mais importante pela sua originalidade, pois é o único que se apresenta com um entrecho dramático, além dos trajes mais exóticos.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;Historicamente, registra-se, através da tradição oral, que foi Mané Cachoeira, personagem lendário, que, saindo a pé de Pombal para Olinda, em fins do século passado, conseguiu do bispo daquela cidade histórica a aprovação de um compromisso da Irmandade do Rosário dos Pretos, onde, daí, a origem provável de elementos dos Congos Olindenses adaptados à tradição paraibana.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;O Grupo, que é constituído de 11 elementos masculinos, destaca 3 personagens: o Rei, que é a figura central, o Secretário, o Embaixador e mais 1 ou 2 músicos que tocam viola. Formam-se 2 cordões ou alas e usam saias rendadas brancas sobre calças compridas, cujos bordados lembram as alvas que os padres usam entre os paramentos da missa. Sobre a cabeça usam chapéus afunilados, na cor da blusa, enfeitados de espelhos, vitrilhos e areia prateada.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;Apresentam-se tanto nas celebrações religiosas como em visitações, isoladas dos outros grupos, às famílias mais importantes da cidade. Formados em duas alas, com maracás nas mãos, encabeçados pelo Secretário e pelo Embaixador, tendo no centro o Rei, seguem silenciosos pela cidade em visitações às casas escolhidas, onde pedem licença para executar suas danças em quatro passos: &lt;b&gt;aboio, zabelinha, tesoura &lt;/b&gt;ou &lt;b&gt;tesourinha &lt;/b&gt;e &lt;b&gt;volta-em-cheio.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;Terminadas as exibições, retiram-se da cidade, depois de aceitarem bebidas em cada visita.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;Dessas danças, a tesourinha é a mais vigorosa e acontece no momento em que o Rei, saindo do &lt;b&gt;trono&lt;/b&gt;, participa da festa onde o grupo executa movimentos rápidos em forma de tesoura com as pernas. Eis uma idéia - vaga embora - do que seja uma &lt;b&gt;Banda de Congos&lt;/b&gt;, conjunto musical típico do folclore capixaba. Ao som desses instrumentos rústicos, as vozes finas e grossas, claras ou fanhosas, vozes de homens e de mulheres cantam tradicionais toadas, em referências a gentes e cenas da escravidão, à guerra do Paraguai, aos santos da devoção popular, às sereias do mar, ao amor e à morte, à tristeza da partida, à saudade...&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;Essas bandas de congos têm os seus dias certos de apresentação, o principal destes o da &lt;b&gt;Puxada do Mastro&lt;/b&gt;&amp;nbsp;de São Benedito, de São Pedro, São Sebastião e doutros santos, conduzindo o mastro em barco armado de duas ou quatro rodas, aparentemente puxado por meio de longa corda pelos inúmeros devotos do santo - ritual que Câmara Cascudo recua a milênios no tempo, quando aproxima este carro-barco ao "carro-barco de Ísis Pelágia" e ao "carro-barca penatenaico nas festas gregas de Palas Atena".&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;Durante o trajeto a caminho da igreja, na cidadezinha, na vila e povoados, a Banda de Congos vai à frente, atrás ou do lado do "navio", tocando e cantando, interminavelmente, suas toadas, muitas delas em louvor ao Santo do dia:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"&gt;Meu S. Aqui, os dados do 26° lançamento:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;CAMBINDA/PARAÍBA&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;O grupo de Cambinda de Lucena, denomiando &lt;/span&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;Cambinda Brilhante&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;, é constituído em sua maioria de pescadores da Colônia Z-5.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;Segundo a tradição do grupo, Manuel Pereira, um pescador da Praia de Pitimbu, teria migrado para Lucena, e reuniu um grupo de amigos para constituir uma brincadeira e comemorar o domingo de Páscoa, como se fazia no seu lugar de origem.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;O rei do grupo, João Marques Chagas, atual portador da tradição, com a morte do velho Manuel Pereira, acredita que as Cambindas tenham sido criadas para comemorar a libertação dos escravos.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;O grupo é formado exclusivamente de homens. Embora não haja entrecho dramático, há diferenciação de papéis, que assim se distribuem: Rei, Rainha, Dama do Paço, Mestre, Leão Coroado, Porta-bandeira, Diretor do Cordão Encarnado, Diretor do Cordão Azul, Lanceiros e Cambindas propriamente ditas, ou Baianas, e dois tocadores.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;São bastante repetitivas as loas da Cambinda Brilhante de Lucena, e a sua análise determina a sua vinculação com manifestações semelhantes existentes em Goiana, Pernambuco, bem como revelam integração do grupo na cultura local. Desta forma, consideramos os ritmos de alguns toques próximos aos de coco-de-roda praieiro e de jornadas pastoris, e em nenhum momento evocam os ritmos dos maracatus, nação africana de Recife.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;A temática dos cantos poderia ser agrupada da seguinte forma: Cantos de Saída, Cantos de Rua, Cantos de Invocação, Cantos da Realeza, incluindo os Cantos dos Reis, Leão Coroado, Embaixador e Boneca, e cantos de trabalho, dos quais registramos os mais comuns. Segundo o Rei, há mais de&amp;nbsp;cinqüenta&amp;nbsp;cantos diferentes.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;O grupo se apresenta nas celebrações religiosas do domingo de Páscoa, como também em visitas nas casas de famílias da comunidade e quando são convidados para demonstrações.
